women,lifting weights won’t make you muscular like men

It is very saddening to see females always doing cardio in the gym. I’ve been to many gyms and females disregarding weight training is a ubiquitous sight in every gym. Some trainers also put the females on cardio,abs exercises and forbid them to do weight training.

A very general misconception behind all this is a notion that ” if female will do weight training, she will lose their femininity and will look muscular like a man”. This notion is implicitly fallacious.

Here’s why:

No testosterone, No muscularity

Testosterone and human growth hormone are the two major hormones involved in building muscles. everyone has them both but men have way more testosterone than women could ever have. women have generally 20-25% less concentration of testosterone in their body than men do. Without that extra testosterone, females can’t build the big muscle like guys. It’s science,so stop brooding. Females have more concentration of estrogen( female sex hormone) than testosterone in their body which gives them feminine traits.

but female bodybuilders!

some of you are maybe still worried that even females haven’t that much testosterone but then how female bodybuilders look so muscular.

to put it simply, those females must be injecting some artificial testosterone in their body to achieve that level of muscularity.

it is testosterone that is responsible for masculine traits i.e. excess hair, deepening of voice, muscle mass gains.

to become a professional woman bodybuilder, many have to take anabolic steroids, testosterone. as a female, using additional testosterone and anabolic steroids, you are supplementing your body with more of the primary male sex hormones and some chemically enhanced drugs, which are proved to hasten the process of muscle building and strength gaining.

weight training will make you look converse of masculine

though doing cardio will certainly burn your calories but it won’t give you the shape you desire to have.

don’t think that weight training will make you look like female bodybuilders because 99.9% of the time, it won’t. conversely, it will aid you toning your body , giving you lean, tight, athletic body. It will increase your confidence, helps in your growth, modify your outlook.

take a look at any of your favorite actress who is fit and in good shape. they must be doing some kind of resistance/weight training daily.

actresses like margot robbi, gal gadot, scarlett johansson do weight training and see if any of them look like masculine to you.

a study published in 2017 in medicine and science in sports and exercise analyzed data from more than 35000 women for more than decade. Researchers found that those who performed resistance training had a 30 percent lower chance of being diagnosed with type-2 diabetes than those who did not.

After the age of 30, when bones start weakening in females, weight training along with healthy well balanced diet can help them preserving their bone health.
